Govt refutes fake message claiming India Post is offering gifts under Dak Seva Gifts scheme

The Government has refuted a fake message circulating on social media claiming that India Post is offering gifts or rewards under the Dak Seva Gifts scheme.

The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said that the video is fake and clarified that India Post has no connection with any such Dak Seva Gifts offer, reward scheme, or lucky draw.

PIB further urged citizens not to click on any suspicious links or webpages and advised them never to share personal information such as bank details, OTPs, or Aadhaar numbers.
