Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw today highlighted that many big decisions have been taken by the Narendra Modi government in the last 100 days which will bring positive transformation among every section of the society. In an interview with DD News this evening, the Minister said three crore houses will be provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and all senior citizens of 70 years of age and above will get a cover of five lakh rupees per year under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. He also said that the Employment Linked Initiative Scheme has been launched to facilitate job creation.
The Union Minister said that eight new schemes have been launched for the farmers in the last hundred days.
Mr Vaishnaw said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown to the people a new way of working for the government in his last two terms. He said the Modi government’s policies resulted in a huge transformation in the lives of the poor, middle class, farmers and youth. He noted that the Lakhpati Didi scheme has empowered rural women in a big way. He said India has seen rapid growth in the last ten years.
On Railways, Mr Vaishnaw said that the transformation in Railways in the past ten years is unprecedented.
