President Droupadi Murmu has congratulated Rubina Francis on winning bronze in the P2 Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
In a social media post, she said that Rubina’s win adds to India’s excellent performance in shooting as this is the fourth medal for the country in the sport at these Games.
President said that Rubina’s success will inspire everyone, especially divyangjan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Rubina Francis for her achievement. In a social media post, he said that this is another proud moment for the country, as her exceptional focus, determination, and perseverance have led to outstanding results.
Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya also congratulated Rubina.
In a social media post, he said that Rubina turned the shooting range into a stage of glory. He further said that her journey from practice to podium is an inspiration for all.
