BJP, PLC, SAD (S) alliance release 11-point vision document for Punjab assembly election

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Punjab Lok Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal Sanyukt alliance on Friday released their 11 point joint Sankalp Patra (election manifesto) at Chandigarh. Accompanied by Punjab BJP President Ashwani Sharma, PLC President Captain Amarinder Singh and SAD Sanyukt President Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, BJP leader and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, while releasing the election manifesto of alliance said, Punjab is dismayed with s mafia, corruption, drugs and misrule and the points given in the manifesto are aimed at to end all this.

The 11 points given in the manifesto are Peace and Brotherhood, Mafia free Punjab, Drugs free Punjab, Employment to every hand, Prosperous Farmer, Healthy Punjab, Right of Quality Education to All, Industrial Revolution, Developed Punjab’s, Empowered Woman and Sab Da Saath, Sab Da Vikas.

The alliance has promised to follow the zero tolerance policy in sacrilege cases and setting up of fast track courts for early verdicts. The alliance said the Act enacted against sacrilege would be implemented strictly.
The BJP and its allies have also promised to use modern technology on the pattern of central security agencies to end the Mafia rule and constitution of Mining Authority to end illegal mining.

The election manifesto says, the strict steps like drone surveillance, electric fencing and formation of Police Posts will be taken to check terrorism across the border and smuggling of drugs. To adress the complaints of terrorism affected families Trith and Reconciliation Commission will be constituted.

The alliance also promised Unemployment Wage of 4000 rupees per month upto two years after completion of graduate degree to unemployed youth. Every youth of will get the guarantee of minimum 150 hours work under Saksham Yuva Yojana.
The alliance also announced to wave agricultural debts of farmers having less than five acre agriculture land. The alliance also promised to give one lakh acre common land (Shamlaat ) to the landless farmers for agriculture purpose and also 6000 rupees annual financial help to them on the pattern of Pradhan Mantri kisan samman yojana. The alliance also promised 5000 crore rupees annual budget to promote crop diversification and Minimum Support Price system for the growers of pulses, oil seeds, fruits and vegetables.
The alliance also announced to open one medical and one nursing college in every Lok Sabha constituency, setting up of Arogya Kendras (medical clinic) in every village and ward for primary health facilities and providing free medicine and completely free treatment of cancer in scheduled hospitals.

The alliance also said, all the Corona warriors will be paid compensation and balance for their contribution during Covid19 pandemic.

The Alliance also promised to open smart schools equipped with modern classrooms, computer labs and sports grounds, at least one government college in every Tehsil.

The alliance also announced to enact Right to Skill Training to provide Skill training to any person between 14 to 30 years. Every Punjabi student will be given credit card with credit facility upto 5 lakh rupees for getting higher education.

The alliance in their manifesto also promised to bring white paper on loss occurred to industry during Covid time, making taxes logical, opening of Lala Lajpat Rai MSME Development Centre and providing electricity to MSMEs at the rate of 4 rupees per unit and other industrial units at 5 rupees per unit.

The alliance also promised to increase Old age, Divyang and Widow pension to 3000 rupees, regularisation of contractual teachers. Aganwadi workers and sanitation workers, one thousand rupees stipend to all girls from post matric upto postgraduate.
In the Sankalp Patra 33 percent reservation to women in police force is also promised.

Other promises included upto 10 lakh rupees loan to woman for purchasing land for small scale industry, agriculture and business, increase in wages of Aganwadi workers upto 10000 rupees and of Asha workers upto 6000 rupees, constructing hostels for Scheduled castes students in every block with the help of Centre and launching of Mukhmantri Mazdoor Bima Yojana for labourers in unorganised sector.
