An International investigation team has named three Russians and one Ukrainian national as first suspects in the 2014 downing of an airliner above Ukraine.
The MH17 flight was destroyed while flying over territory controlled by pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine over five years ago. All 298 people on board were killed. Most of the victims were Dutch nationals. Dutch authorities said that Russia has not cooperated with the inquiry.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry has denied the allegation and said, it had been willing to aid the investigation from the very beginning but it was shut out of the probe.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement that Russia must ensure that those charged with murder over the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 face justice.
