Two Naval personnel were killed in a glider crash at Kochi, this morning. The naval power glider was on a routine training sortie which took off from INS Garuda crashed near Naval Base around 7 am.
The two personnel, Lt Rajeev Jha and Petty Officer Sunil Kumar, were shifted to INHS Sanjivini, but were declared brought dead. An enquiry has been ordered by the Southern Naval Command into the incident.
