Indian nationals wishing to get their background verification for applying for US Global Entry Program (GEP) can now avail this service in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, provided they hold a valid residential permit for the UAE. GEP allows quick clearance for pre-approved and low risk travellers at US airports. Normally, Indians had to travel back to India for this verification.
Now, the concerned applicants can avail of this service in the same manner as they apply for their passports and select the region as UAE. After registering themselves, they can log onto the website and click on the Services icon in the menu. A new service item has been created, so applicants need to fill in their details, take a printout and submit it physically to the outsourced service centre ( BLS International) with the fee amount of AED 100/-
