Foreign Affairs Minister Received By Palestinian President In New York

Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa  conveyed the greetings of  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to State of Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas.

The minister also conveyed the leadership’s wishes for good health to the president and success in his indefatigable efforts to achieve the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people.

This came as President Abbas received the Minister of Foreign Affairs  at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York.

President Abbas entrusted the Minister with conveying his sincere greetings of His Majesty the King, HRH Prime Minister and HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and his deep appreciation of the brotherly positions of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.

Shaikh Khalid affirmed the need for concerted regional and international efforts to help the brotherly Palestinian people regain their legitimate rights and live in a stable prosperous region where security and prosperity prevails for all.

He reiterated the unwavering position of the Kingdom of Bahrain that supports the Palestinian cause and brotherly Palestinian people’s right to have their own independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution, Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international resolutions, as reported by Bahrain News Agency.
