To
Shri Narendrabhai Modi ji
Hon’ble Prime Minister of India
Govt. of India, New Delhi

Sub : Official recognition to Azad Hind Government and Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Azad Hind Government & Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the First President of United India.

Beloved Prime Minister Sir,

With profound love and respect to your nationalist leadership and tall global personality, I like to bring some of very important issues of national interest to your notice, that relate to public life, their emotions and sentiments in the country and abroad.

Sir, as we all know that Azad Hind Government established by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 21st October 1943 will complete 75 years of its formation on coming October 21, 2018. It will bring one of the greatest opportunities for the people of this nation to attempt to at least partially repay dues to the great warriors of INA and all other  revolutionary heroes by officially recognizing Azad Hind Government as the Government of United India and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as the President of Government of United India.

The formation of Azad Hind Government in Singapore by the Indians themselves threw the biggest and direct challenge to the British Empire because the message spread like wild fire and enlarged the hopes and expectations of the countrymen to limitless. As many as eleven(11) nations of the world gave official recognition to Azad Hind  Government. Time has come now for Government of India to give official recognition to Azad Hind Government as the first government of the Indians, by the Indians and for the Indians. This recognition will come as worship gesture of post independence India to all her great revolutionary heroes who sacrificed everything for the Motherland. It will also create a tremendous sense of inspirations for the young generation and the generations to come.

Every Indian thinks and admits that the terrific battle fought by the Indian National Army under the uncompromising leadership of Netaji and popular uprising started all over specially in British Indian Navy, Air Force and Army inspired by the heroic deeds of the INA soldiers brought freedom for us. There was no other option left for the
barbaric British except fleeing from India. Netaji’s incomparable selfless fight throughout the whole episode of  his life and having no overt or covert understanding and alliance with the enemy British, created a sky of emotions and trust among the millions of compatriots. This tremendous patriotic atmosphere compelled British to flee from the pious soil of the oldest civilization on earth.

Unfortunate enough sir, after achievement of freedom, the successive governments willfully neglected the great heroic service of INA and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in all possible ways. All attempts were made to deny the unlimited contributions of the revolutionary heroes and glorified only a particular section of the freedom movement who  remained the beneficiary of the freedom. No government since independence could yet identify Netaji and other
revolutionary heroes the way they deserve and the way the common people of this country consider, like, love and dream them. For any reason, successive governments failed to comply with huge public demands for accruing due honour to the most loved leader of our freedom struggle. Rather, disparaging attitude has been desperately shown to the great heroes undermining public sentiment and emotion.

Sir, the people of India have been screaming in pain because of inhuman negligence shown to their real heroes whose sacrifice brought freedom.

Beloved PM Sir, everyone admits that the name “Netaji Subhash” still remains as the most inspirational nationalist icon India has ever seen. The greatest sacrifice made by him and his heroic and legendary acts are seen by people of all classes, creeds, regions and religions as the most precious contributions to the pious feet of Maa Bharati.

Sir, after having realized and felt the cry of heart of my compatriots, I have listed certain proposals to be placed before you requesting urgent consideration and initiate actions.

Sir, Government of India has named so many projects, schemes, institutions, hospitals, roads, monuments after Gandhiji, Pt. Nehru, Sardar Patel and other leaders of Indian National Congress but made nothing remarkable for Netaji except naming Kolkata airport. People of this country are very much unhappy with the attitude of the successive governments shown towards Netaji. Now, the time has come when the culture of negligence towards Netaji should be ended.

I am sure, beloved PM Sir, following decisions on the part of Government of India under your nationalist leadership would end the sense of negligence and instill huge confidence among the millions of Netaji lovers across the world. It will be great if your government takes this path breaking decisions as tributes to the soldiers of INA during the grand celebration of Platinum Jubilee of the formation of Azad Hind Government.

Proposals for decisions are :
1.    Official recognition to Azad Hind Government as the Government of United India formed in Singapore on 21st October 1943.
2.    Official recognition to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as the President of Government of United India.
3.    Declaration of 21st October as First Independence Day.
4.    Official recognition to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as the Army Chief of Indian National Army.
5.    Renaming Indian Army as Indian National Army(INA).
6.    Rewriting of history of Netaji, INA and Azad Hind Government by NCERT giving highest importance to their unparalleled contributions in the freedom struggle.
7.    Renaming Andaman & Nicobar islands as Shaheed Dwip and Swaraj Dwip.
8.    Renaming National Youth Award as Netaji National Youth Award.
9.    Construction of the biggest monument of the country at Delhi to commemorate Azad Hind Government and a centre of inspirations.

Sir, everyone knows and admits that Netaji needs no recognition for his name and works. But we, as a nation and national government, have duty to express our gratitude and honor our national hero and officially recognize his contributions. With the reemergence of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the national life of India, Sir, our country will witness a wave of nationalism and patriotism all over once again. That will strengthen the unity and integrity of our great nation.

Hope, the negligence to the most loved leader of the freedom struggle, Netaji, will end soon with the decisions to materialize the heartfelt requests cited as proposals because the issue relates to the emotions of 125 crore Indians.

Jai Hind !
