इनकम टैक्स विभाग की नई योजना, 10 मिनट से भी कम में मिलेगा ई-पैन
इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट रियल टाइम बेसिस पर ई-पैन जारी करने के लिए एक प्रोसेसिंग सेंटर पर काम कर रहा है। सोमवार को संसद में वित्त राज्य मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने लोकसभा के में कहा, ‘रियल टाइम पैन/टैन प्रोसेसिंग सेंटर (RTPC) बनाने पर विचार किया जा रहा है ताकि रियल टाइम बेसिस (10 मिनट से भी कम समय में) पर आधार बेस्ड ई-केवाईसी के जरिए ई-पैन जारी किया जा सके।सरकार ने इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट को और मजबूत करने के इरादे से टेक्नॉलजी सुधार के लिए कई और प्रस्ताव की शुरुआत की है। ऐसा होने से टैक्सपेयर्स को आसानी तो होगी ही, इसके साथ ही उनका समय भी बचेगा। PAN भी एक 10 डिजिट वाला अल्फान्यूमेरिक कोड होता है कि जिसे हर टैक्सपेयर को आईटी डिपार्टमेंट द्वारा जारी किया जाता है।
