Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at a public meditation workshop in Buenos Aires on Thursday, ahead of the start of the G20 Summit.
Speaking in front of hall full of Yoga practitioners, Modi said, “Companions, the title of today’s event is] “Yoga for Peace.” It would be very difficult to find a more suitable title than this for an event related to yoga. Yoga gives us good health, both physical and mental. Yoga strengthens our body and calms our minds.”
The G20 Summit is being held in Buenos Aires and will run from Friday, November 30 until Saturday, December 1.
Nineteen leaders of the world’s biggest economies and a representative of the European Union will meet to discuss a range of issues, including multilateralism, trade and climate change.
