Woman petrified after realising ‘snake print garment’ in her washing machine was actually a giant python

When Emily looked into the machine, she came across a strange-looking object and assumed it was a snake print garment. But when she reached in and grabbed it out, she was left petrified.

Snake print garments are very common among fashionistas. You can see everything from bags, clutches and scarfs top tops, shoes, and mufflers in snake print these days.

Some snake print wearables are so well designed that many can mistake them for a real snake from a distance.  Well, that’s exactly what a woman from Florida experienced recently while peering into her washing machine.

Emily Visnic, who lives in West Palm Beach, was checking laundry when she came across a rather strange-looking object in her washing machine. At first glance, she thought it was a snake garment. Except, it was not. It was a real-life python.

When Emily looked into the machine, she came across a strange-looking object and assumed it was a snake print garment. But when she reached in and grabbed it out, she was left petrified.

Emily’s reflex action was to throw the snake right back inside the washing machine. She then called her apartment maintained to have the reptile removed. She said she had no clue how the snake got into her laundry room.

Residents of Florida deal with pythons on a regular basis. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) Commission recently announced that it had removed its 5000tu Burmese python from the Everglades.

A spokesperson of FWC said the increased number of Burmese pythons has led to a decline in native species in the state of Florida.

“They have established a breeding population in the Everglades ecosystem. So, that means they are reproducing on their own. So, the more pythons we can get out, obviously the better. Every snake removed, we consider a win for native wildlife.”

Earlier this year, a woman from Thailand fought off a huge snake that bit her thigh while hiding inside the toilet.

The woman named Ana noticed the snake inside her bathroom and immediately grabbed it with both her hands. At that moment, the snake tightened its grip around Ana’s hands but she did not let go,

She called out to her children for help and then used a hammer and a cutter to attack the snake. In the process, she ended up cutting herself.
