The first flight from Trichy International airport, as part of the sixth phase of the Vande Bharat Mission, is scheduled to depart for Dubai at 10.40 am today. The services will cover various destinations including Singapore, Kaula Lampur, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Kuwait.
The Trichy Airport Director said that arrangements for the smooth boarding and alighting of passengers have been finalised.
He said that passengers will be thermally screened at the airport. Passengers have been asked to maintain social distancing and hand hygiene at all times.
