Uttar Pradesh government has put the health department on alert mode after rise in the number of cases of coronavirus in the state. Directions have been issued regarding the Covid appropriate behaviour and use of mask in all hospitals in the state. Government has also directed to activate the integrated Covid command centres which have been established in the districts.
Chief secretary medical and Health Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma has informed that all divisional commissioners, DMs, chief medical officers and head of the hospitals have been directed to prepare themselves and make necessary arrangements for the pandemic.
For the better management of the pandemic, directions have been issued at four different levels which includes covid sampling, surveillance, sensitization activities and moment of rapid response team along with separate directions for hospitals.
Department has been directed to conduct the testing of patients within 24 hours who have symptoms of Covid. Direction has been issued for the surveillance of the people who have returned from foreign countries and sensitization of the survilence committees and rapid response teams which have been formed at blocked and district level. screening and testing of the people coming from different places will be done at airports as per the guidelines of Central Government. All hospitals have been directed to give training to the employees related with the management of coronavirus.
