Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Chairs Highway Review Meet; Focus on Durability and Safety

Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari chaired a high-level review meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday on highway maintenance initiatives across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Gujarat. The review focused on enhancing road durability, safety standards and overall commuter experience across key National Highway corridors. In a social media post, Minister of State for Road, Transport and Highways Harsh Malhotra said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s infrastructure development continues to emphasize not only expansion, but also long-term sustainability, advanced technology adoption and robust monitoring mechanisms.
