Union Home Minister Amit Shah today hoisted the Tricolour at his residence in News Delhi, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. In a social media post, Mr. Shah said, the Tiranga will continue to billow forever as a symbol of unity, loyalty and pride of crores of countrymen. He said, by hoisting the Tiranga at his residence he remembered the heroes who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country. The campaign is being celebrated across the country from the 9th to the 15th of August to bolster a sense of patriotism among citizens. Under the campaign, the government has urged people to hoist the Tiranga at their homes and take a selfie with the Tiranga and upload it on the Har Ghar Tiranga website.
