Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting of newly-elected MLAs of his party at Matoshri, Thackeray’s residence in suburban Bandra in Mumbai today. Shiv Sena contested Assembly elections in Maharashtra in alliance with the BJP.
The BJP-Shiv Sena combine won 161 seats in the 288 member House. BJP President Amit Shah and Shiv Sena chief Udhdhav Thackeray are likely to discuss the government formation talks after Diwali festival.
