Three candidates filed their nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections to fill the vacant seats from Andhra Pradesh. Beeda Mastan Rao and Sana Satish Babu, representing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and R. Krishnaiah, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), submitted their nominations today. The nominations were filed before the Rajya Sabha Election Returning Officer, R. Vanitha Rani, at the Assembly building.
Senior leaders and representatives of the respective parties, including state ministers Nadendla Manohar, Kollu Ravindra, Anagani Satyaprasad, Satyakumar Yadav, K. Atchannaidu, P. Narayana, and several MLAs, accompanied the candidates during the filing of nominations.
