Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Swahid Diwas is an occasion to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who dedicated themselves to the Assam Movement. In his message on Tuesday, Mr Modi said their resolve and selfless efforts helped preserve Assam’s unique culture and identity. He added that their valour also inspires everyone to continue working towards a developed Assam.
