  • Begin to straighten the legs, rooting the soles of the feet strongly down in the ground. As the legs straighten, the torso lengthens back. 
  • Then, bend your elbows to lift yourself up to bring your chest in between your fists/palms.
  • Ensure that your back remains straight while doing this, no curvature of the spine. Stomach muscles are engaged and feet firmly planted to the ground. 
  • Not only does this help build your core strength but also works on your arms and shoulder strengthening. Start with a set of 5 and repeat 2-3 times. Building core, in turn, means that the body’s ability to burn fat increases drastically.
