Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy announces Rs. 10 crore relief aid to flood-hit Telangana

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy has announced a relief aid of Rs. ten crore to flood-hit Telangana for the ongoing relief efforts.

In a letter to his Telangana counterpart Chandrashekhar Rao today, Mr Palaniaswamy said, the quick handling of the disaster by the Telangana Government has helped mitigate the adverse effects of the flood.

He has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family members of all those who have lost their lives in the floods.

He said, as a token of the support and solidarity with the people of Telangana, he has ordered the immediate contribution of Rs. 10 crore from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to Telangana.

Blankets and mats are also being dispatched to the flood-affected areas.

Mr Palaniswamy has assured Telangana of rendering any other assistance whenever required.
