In Table Tennis, India’s Syndrela Das has clinched the Under 15 Girl’s Singles title at the WTT Youth Contender in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. She defeated compatriot Divyanshi Bhowmick, 3-2, in an all-India final last night. Divyanshi was leading by 2-1 after the third set. However, Syndrela held her nerves and won the remaining two sets to claim the title. Earlier, in the semifinals, Syndrela edged past another Indian paddler, Hansini Mathan, with a 3-2 victory. While Divyanshi advanced to the final by defeating compatriot Riana Bhoota 3-1.
