Sidhu advocates dialogue as permanent solution to terrorism

While most of the top political leaders across India and all its citizens are expressing outrage against the Pakistani terrorist attack in Pulwama, Punjab cabinet Navjot Singh Sidhu has a different take on it.

Sidhu asked whether this bloodshed has got to do with Kartarpur corridor. He said that when a person becomes a pilgrim out of devotion, he would become a different person.

Sidhu suggested that we should analyse, arrive at the root cause of terrorism and uproot it.

The former India cricketer, who quit the Bharatiya Janata Party and joined the Congress, condemned the terror attack as cowardly. However, he advocated dialogue as a permanent solution to the menace.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh announced ex-gratia of INR 12 lakhs and a government job to the kin of the CRPF jawans from the state, who were killed in the Pakistani terrorist attack in Pulwama. Kulwinder Singh, Jaimal Singh, Sukhjinder Singh and Maninder Singh wer from Punjab.
