Services on Konkan railways route are disturbed after engine derailment in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. No injuries or casualties are reported in this incident. Front wheels of 02414 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Madgaon Rajdhani express derailed in a tunnel between Ukshi and Bhoke village. Konkan railway has informed that the incident happened due to boulder fall between UKshi & Bhoke station and restoration work is in progress. Incident happened early this morning.
Due to which traffic on this route is halted for some time. Various trains are stopped at nearby stations. Railways repair and medical vans have reached the spot and all attempts are being made to resume movements on this route.
