Sri Ahobila Mattam, is one among the prominent Matta’s of Bharat, has a vintage of 650 years, by HH Sri Adivan Satakop Jeeyar, followers of Srivaishnava Sampradaya. It has contributed to the preservation, spreading of the teachings of Sanatana Dharma, preserving the Guru-Shisya Parampara. The Acharya heading the Mattam are known as Azhagiyasingar, the presiding deity is Sri Lakshmi Narasimha. They have millions of followers across the globe.
On 18th July 2020, Sri Ahobila Mattam one of the prestigious Srivaishnava Mutt in India had organized a virtual Satsang which would commence with the Anugrabashanam (Discourse of realizing Truth beyond Maya) from His Holiness 46th Azhagiyasingar, current Acharaya.
The virtual session was planned, and the information was circulated to the sishyas (devotees) across the world, through Facebook. In the midst of the discourse, a person joined the meeting with a lewd screen username, started loudly reciting Quran and referred the Acharya with obscene words. The moderator upon realising the gravity of situation, removed that user, and blocked him from the group call..
Though Acharya was shocked, but composed enough to remain calm and not react, and advised sishyas that there will be lot of hinderances for good deed, but we will tolerate it and continue to do our good work.
There have been continuous attacks on Hindus, Hindu Temples, Institutions, their religious beliefs verbally, physically, and various other mode. It is good to get reminded about the attack of Sri Kanchi Matta Peetadhipathi by missionaries?. India is facing Hinduphobia and its increasing with an alarming ratte, by the so called followers secularism and Atheism. Few instances of recent expose on Stand-up comedians reveals their ecosystem.
A Hindu temple was vandalized, and a part of temple was burnt in Coimbatore city. Karupar Kootam, a YouTube channel run by a group of people with Periyar Ideology has viciously attacked Hindu Gods and sexually objectified the sacred hymns, have spread false narrative.
The alarming increase in Hinduphobia proved by the above incidents have unsettled even the most timid Hindu, who has for thousands of years accepted practise of any other Sampradaya, than his own. The feeble Hindu voice against these atrocities are now growing stronger. Its time for elected representatives to be more proactive and stop being selectively tolerant to those forces which are creating rift in society.

Will the Political parties, administration, law and order machinery wake up and take action?
