Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the natural right to the forest produce of tribes will be implemented with strictness in the entire state.
In the program organized on the birth anniversary of the martyr Birsa Munda at the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum in Bhopal yesterday, the Chief Minister said that if the forest produce is sold at a lower price than the state government will buy it at the support price.
Besides, there will be efforts for food processing of kodo-kutki, jowar, maize etc. in Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion, a memorial of the freedom fighters Rajashankar Shah and Raghunath Shah, who fought with the British for the rights of tribals, was announced in Jabalpur at a cost of Rs 5 crore.
