The relaxation in Covid induced restrictions announced by Delhi Government will come into effect from today. Delhi Metro will be allowed to run with 100 percent seating capacity but no standing passenger will be allowed. In its order, Delhi Disaster Management Authority, DDMA said that Intra-state buses will also be allowed to run with 100 per cent seating capacity with boarding only from the rear door and deboarding from the front door.
It said, bars will also be allowed to reopen with 50 per cent of the seating capacity from 12 noon to 10 PM. Auditoriums and assembly halls can also reopen with a 50 per cent seating capacity. As per the DDMA order, religious places will also open in the national capital but visitors will not be allowed. Stadia and Sports complexes will be permitted to open without spectators. For the reopening of spas, the DDMA mentioned that all employees of spas will have to be vaccinated with both doses of Covid-19 vaccination or to undergo RT-PCR tests every fortnight.

Multiplexes, theaters and Cinema halls will be allowed to reopen with 50 percent capacity. All markets complexes and malls will remain open from 10 AM to 8 PM. To ensure social distancing, not more than two passengers are allowed in autos, e-rickshaws and taxis. All schools, colleges and educational institution will continue to remain closed till further orders. According to DDMA order, no weekly market will be allowed to function on roadside. Any Social, political, cultural, religious and other gatherings will not be allowed during this period.
