Bikaner (Rajasthan), July 30 : To boost the technology paradigm in the State, government of Rajasthan recently organised the fifth edition of Rajasthan Digifest in the historic city of Bikaner. On the closing day of the programme, Chief Minister laid foundation of Incubation Center I-Star nest to be set up in Kota and Jodhpur. She also inaugurated Abhay Command Centre in Baran, Nagaur, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh and Jalore districtsr and many more projects. On this Occasion Chief Minister said that, “To connect more and more people with the world, all the remote areas of the state are being digitally connected. The purpose of events like Digifest is to connect youth with Information Technology (IT) because IT is the most important medium for the development and change in the state” Rajasthan Digifest Bikaner got the stage set up where future trends and unexplored technologies emerged together. The three-day festival hosted eight major sub-events and hundreds of activities wherein, not just students, entrepreneurs or IT/Startup experts participated, but residents as well enjoyed and took back a memorable experience instilled with knowledge. Similar to previous editions, this year also the fest witnessed Hackathon wherein, the coding community of the country got a chance to showcase their ingenious hacks on a global platform. Apart from that Rajasthan job fair was a huge success with job opportunities and short listing of more than 6800 people. More than 3200 got job offer letters on spot. Rajasthan Digifest organised a state-of-the art exhibition, where the spectators experienced new-age technology, latest scientific inventions, and e-governance initiatives by Rajasthan government. Along with this, the IT Expo also showcased emerging technologies blending virtual reality and real-life together.
