President Ramnath Kovind will attend a function of Jain community at Koba near Gandhinagar in Gujarat today. Mr Kovind arrived in Ahmedabad on a two-day visit to Gujarat yesterday evening.
President Ramnath Kovind will meet Hiraba- mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the morning today. She lives in Raisan village of Gandhinagar with her youngest son. The president would then visit the Mahavir Jain Aradhna Kendra in Koba near Gandhinagar and take blessings of Jain saint Acharya Padmasagarsuriji.
He would also visit the Jain temple, library and museum there. President’s visit to Gujarat is the last leg of his three states visit. Earlier, he visited Maharashtra and Karnataka before reaching to Gujarat.
