President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar have greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-fitr. President Murmu said in a social media post that This festival strengthens the feeling of brotherhood and gives the message of adopting compassion and charity. She wished that this festival brings peace, prosperity and happiness in everyone’s life and strengthens the spirit of moving forward on the path of goodness.
Vice President Dhankhar said, Eid reminds the strength people draw from thier cultural diversity and the common bonds that unite them. Vice president said, this festival embodies the constitutional ideals of unity, compassion, and mutual respect that form the cornerstone of India’s diverse democracy. He urged citizens to let the spirit of Eid inspire them to recommit themselves to the values that illuminate the path forward and bind them as one remarkable, resilient nation.
