President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated Praveen Kumar on winning gold medal in men’s high jump event at the Paris Paralympics.
In a social media post, President Murmu said, by winning medals at consecutive Paralympics with record-setting performances, Praveen has shown exceptional consistency. She said, India is proud of Praveen. The President also wished that Praveen continues to scale great heights of sporting excellence in the future.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the determination and tenacity of Praveen has brought glory to the nation. He said, India is proud of him.
