President Ram Nath Kovind will reach Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh this morning for a two-day visit to the city. Today, the President will grace and address the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Chaudhary Harmohan Singh Yadav. Tomorrow, Mr Kovind will address the Centenary Celebrations of Harcourt Butler Technical University. AIR correspondent reports that after reaching Kanpur this morning, President Ram Nath Kovind will go directly to Meherban Singh ka Purva area. He will take part in the function being organised to mark the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Ex-MP Chaudhari Harmohan Singh Yadav. Chaudhary Harmohan Singh Yadav was an educationist, social worker, independence activist and a politician. After paying floral tributes to the leader, President will address a gathering there.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also take part in this programme. Tomorrow, the President will grace and address the Centenary Celebrations of Harcourt Butler Technical University. He will release a coffee table book, University history book, postal stamp, special cover and commemorative coin photo of Centenary Celebration of HBTU. On the occasion, the President will also inaugurate 10 buildings including Kulpati Awas and different hostels for students.
