President Ram Nath Kovind has said that quality health and education should be accessible for people of the country, especially in remote areas. Addressing at the Second Convocation of AIIMS, Jodhpur, President said that there is a need to develop low-cost diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation services. He said that institutions like AIIMS are being developed to provide medical care to the poorest to poor people of the country. Mr. Kovind said, the research community across the world is taking note of the country’s traditional system of medicine and the Government is also focusing to extend the reach of AYUSH services.
Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot along with Union Ministers Dr Harsh Vardhan and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat were also present on this occasion.
