Prakash Javadekar terms Rahul Gandhi walking out of meeting of Parliamentary Committee on Defence as disrespect to parliamentary system

Union Minister and Senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar  has termed  the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi  walking out of the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence as a disrespect to parliamentary system and constitutional institutions.

Addressing the media in New Delhi, Mr Javadekar said that in the last one and half year, there have been a total of 14 meetings and Mr Gandhi was present in only two meetings. He said, when the Congress led UPA was in power, Mr Rahul Gandhi had torn the paper of Cabinet decision and had thrown it away in the dustbin. He said, such instances clearly show how much respect he has for Constitutional procedures.

Mr Gandhi had walkout of the meeting alleging that important issues were not being discussed.
