PM’s message for incognito living mentioned in Mahabharat until we find vaccine for COVID 19, right advice, at right time

Our Honourable Prime Minister has addressed the nation and urged the people of India to be vigilant and watchful of COVID 19 while celebrating festivals like Navaratri, Deepali etc., must be received by all of us in letter and spirit.

People should not be complacent because vaccine against the virus is still far from near.

The message of our PM must be liked with the incognito phase of Pandavas in Mahabharat. Pandavas were denied of even a small piece of land to live by the heinous Duryodhana and then, he along with his wicked uncle Shakuni played the game of dice and made Pandavas empty and pauper and finally pushed them to go for an incognito phase with a condition that during such incognito phase if any of them got recognized by others must continue for another one more year.

From the emotional stand point, we may say the incognito phase was equally a cruel act against Pandavas by the heartless Duryodhana. But today’s context we must link the message of incognito with COVID pandemic and how important, we the Indians also must follow the incognito phase as far as possible to prevent and minimize the spread of novel coronavirus. We must not get identified by the virus and it means we must do everything possible to avoid the direct and or indirect exposure to the virus. And one of the methods is ‘disguise’ or to adopt ‘incognito’ state.
Sometime instead of fighting, we must remain humble and meek to gather our strength and strategy to fight our enemy. Further, such buying of peace and submissiveness also would give us better understanding and patience to evolve our future course of action than reacting to a situation with anger and fear.

Helpless situation do occur in our life but instead of being repentive, melancholic and precarious, we must do everything possible to minimize the disaster to our society.

The Ved Vyasa perhaps would have described incognito phase of Pandavas Mahabharat may be also to convey to the people of India that sometime incognito state must be seen scientifically and not from the emotional parlance alone. The Mahabharat is full of science and wisdom to deal every problem likely to be suffered by humanity at large.

Remain unseen is also a wonderful strategy of both the prey and predator in the ecosystem. Being so visible, vivid and every moment of life filled with recognition is the life style we largely adopt and wish to have. But at the same time we also must learn how to be in subterranean state when we face a disaster like COVID 19.

In many occasions, escape from the enemy will be the best strategy to weaken him and today our collective enemy is novel coronavirus and therefore we can weaken the virus only by not giving the virus a chance to contract us.

Our PM was quite right in sending the right message because the entire India starting from Jammu and Kashmir to cape Cameron, from Jaisalmer to Nagaland is preparing to celebrate Navaratri and Diwali, the famous unifying festivals of Hinduism. Both these festivals were meant to destroy the evil force and welcome the world to light and joy. Therefore it was necessary for our PM to tell us that while we prepare to celebrate our festivals with great festivity, we must realize our enemy – novel coronavirus is still active and we have not got the vaccine yet and therefore we must be watchful of our enemy and if necessary, we must also ‘strategically’ adopt subterranean-ism or incognito state being followed by Pandavas.

Several kings in the past when they lost the battle had gone underground, gathered their strength and strategy, fought back and saved the kingdom and people. Why even Lord Krishna shifted the people from Mathura to Dwaraka because the Lord does not want the life of people to be pushed into an unnecessary and never ending war by all evil forces. Later Lord Krishna killed all evil forces one after the other.

\Hinduism, Mahabharat, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayan etc., have profound mention of several strategies and measures to be adopted to deal many of our adversities. When we draw a similarity between them, we can understand not only how spiritual those messages were but also how much valuable science they carry and contain.

Let us be joyful and celebrative during the festivals but at the same time let us not intoxicate our head to a state of senselessness especially when the novel coronavirus is watching vigilantly to infect us

Let us hail the message of our PM and also the spiritual and scientific essence of Hinduism.
