Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to Akansha Thakur, the girl who was holding his sketch during a recent public rally in Chhattisgarh. In his letter, Mr. Modi thanked her for the sketch saying India’s daughters are the bright future of the country. He said the aim of his government has been to build a healthy, safe and well-equipped nation for the daughters. He added that the affection and belongingness that he receives from people is his strength in the service of the nation.
The Prime Minister also said he has always received love from the people of Chhattisgarh, saying they have actively participated in the progress and development of the country. Mr. Modi added that the next 25 years will hold importance for the young generation and said these years will shape their dreams and the future. During the rally in Kanker, when the Prime Minister had seen the girl holding his sketch, he asked the police officials to bring the sketch to him. Mr. Modi also told the girl to write her address and promised that he would write a letter to her.
