Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said National Logistics Policy is a comprehensive effort to enhance efficiency of the logistics ecosystem in India. In his address at the launch of National Logistics Policy in New Delhi, Mr Modi said that there is a connection with the launch of the policy and the release of cheetahs on the same day. He said he wants country’s logistics to move at the same speed of the cheetah. Mr. Modi said National Logistics Policy is a collective collaboration of views, ideas and strategic planning for the last eight years. He informed that 40 air cargo terminals have been created to improve the pace of our exports. He said India is achieving high export targets and better services delivery now and Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat are echoing throughout the world. He also said that 35 multi-modal logistics hubs are being established in India.
Prime Minister said India has improved its growth potential with timely service delivery. Stressing that India is transforming, he said that India is the 5th largest economy in the world today.
