In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing by heavy and small arms violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Mendhar Sector of Poonch district.
The officials said, the incident took place from 1230 to 1315 Hours and the Indian Army troops gave befitting reply.
In another incident of ceasefire violation, Pak Army started unprovoked firing today along the LoC in Lam area of in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district. Indian Army is retaliating befittingly to the Pak firing.
