There’s no doubt that OnePlus phones are some of the most popular smartphones in the country right now and hence, it only makes sense for OnePlus to make its presence felt in more cities. OnePlus has been expanding its retail presence in the country at a massive rate since the last few years with the OnePlus Experience Stores and we have been seeing temporary Pop-Up Experience stores just after new product launches. And it appears that we might be seeing more of OnePlus stores in more Indian cities.
OnePlus just announced its retail partnership with Redington India for expanding its offline presence across more cities in North India and North East India. The new partnership will see OnePlus Experience Stores come up in cities like Chandigarh, Agra, Lucknow, Patna and Ludhiana. Major cities in eastern India such as Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata will also get to see more of OnePlus Experience stores. Some major northwest cities such as Jaipur, Indore, Raipur, Bhopal and some other cities will also get OnePlus Experience Stores.
However, the Shenzhen-based smartphone brand isn’t stopping here. OnePlus plans to bring 100 new Experience Stores to 50 major cities in India by 2020, along with the flagship showrooms in the metro cities.
The new Experience Stores will help OnePlus reach out to more consumers when it comes to its smartphones. OnePlus recently announced the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro phones in India, and both these phones have been selling high numbers online. The slightly older OnePlus 7with its reduced price on Amazon has also helped OnePlus post good numbers during the festive season sales.
At the same time, OnePlus also announced its new smart TVs and both the models have been the best sellers in the premium TV category. The OnePlus TV Q1 series starts at Rs 69,899 and it’s one of the best options for a premium TV under Rs 70,000, especially with its 55-inch 4K QLED screen and an optimised version of Android TV OS.
As India continues to be a significant market for us, we look to partner with the best of market players who share a similar global vision like us to bring top-notch international quality of service to our customers across the nation,” Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India said in a statement.
