Omicron Variant: Shirdi Sai Baba temple to be closed during night hrs in Maharashtra

The famous Sai Baba temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra will be closed during the night hours due to curfew orders issued by state government. Accordingly, the CEO of Sri Saibaba Sansthan trust, Bhagyasree Banayat has said that, as state government has announced night curfew from 9-00 PM to 6-00 PM since 25th December, the Sai Baba temple will be closed for devotees in curfew period and many facilities in the temple will also be closed.

The regular Arti which is performed in wee hours and night will also be closed for devotees. The other facilities like canteen and prasadalaya, Ladoo sale counter will be closed in curfew hours. Smt Bhagyashree Banayat appealed to visiting devotees to strictly follow Covid protocol.

The temple was reopened on 7th October as the Corona cases started to decline but in the light of rising cases of Omicron, it has been closed again for devotees in night hours.
