Internationally the SUV has been on sale for a while now and is built on the same platform as the Nissan Terrano but carries a feel a little more luxurious than its counterpart.
The Nissan Kicks has been fully revealed and bookings are all set to begin on December 14. At a length of 4,384 mm the India-spec Kicks is larger than its international cousin and is re-engineered specifically for the Indian market.
Internationally the SUV has been on sale for a while now and is built on the same platform as the Nissan Terrano but carries a feel that is a little more luxurious than its counterpart. The interior gets a two-tone treatment, an 8-inch touchscreen centre console with built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
To outline the SUV look, the car will feature a floating roof, blacked out pillars, prominent wheel arches and an aggressive shoulder-line. Large 17-inch rims speak out for the SUV.
The Kicks gets two engine options. One is a 1.5-litre petrol that is capable of producing 106 PS of power and 142 Nm of torque while the 1.5-litre diesel is a turbocharged motor that produces 110 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque. The petrol version comes mated to a 5-speed manual and the diesel variant gets a 6-speed gearbox.
