A week after launching ‘OnePlus Lucky Star’ campaign, Shenzhen-based smartphone maker OnePlus and Amazon.in has announced 24-year old Delhi-resident as its first winner. As announced, the winner – Shashank Shekhar – has been presented with 600 exclusive gifts ranging from electronic appliances to fashion to home decor.
The gifts ranging between Rs 80,000 and Rs 100 across 35+ categories on Amazon included laptops, gaming consoles, large appliances, furniture, musical instruments, sports equipment, kitchen & home items and were personally delivered by Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India at the winner’s doorway.
To those who are unaware, ‘OnePlus Lucky Star’ campaign was announced by Amazon.in, in association with OnePlus in order to celebrate the fourth anniversary of their partnership in the country.
Speaking at the occasion, Manish Tiwary, Vice President – Category Management, Amazon India, said, “We received an overwhelming 3 times growth in demand for OnePlus 6T during the anniversary offer. Apart from the campaign, Amazon also announced ‘anniversary celebration offer’ which saw demand for the flagship smartphone shoot up by 3x on the website. In the offer, buyers would receive Rs 1,500 cashback on Citibank credit/debit cards along with additional exchange offer of Rs 3,000 for users of older version of OnePlus devices on the purchase of OnePlus 6T. The offer has been extended to Apple users as well.
Launched in November, OnePlus 6T is the company’s flagship smartphone. Salient features on the device include Snapdragon 845 SoC, in-display fingerprint sensor for locking/unlocking, water-drop notch display, 20+16 MP dual-rear camera setup with OIS, 3,700 mAh battery which supports fast charging.
