The National Entrance Screening Test Result 2019 was scheduled to be declared yesterday June 17 but due to some technical problem it was not. According to NEST’s official website, results are going to be out today June 18 before 5 pm on the official website nestexam.in so students should keep a check on the website.
For students who want admission in the MSc programme, it is mandatory for them to appear and clear NEST entrance exams. They can get admission in National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) Mumbai.
The exams were held in multiple centres across India on June 1, 2019 over two different sessions. The Government of India started NISER and UM-DAE CEBS with the Department of Atomic Energy. Their objective is to train scientific manpower which would help in scientific research.
The application process of NEST started on January 7, 2019.
