Islamabad [Pakistan], July 14 (IND Samachar): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday stated that former prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should return Rs 300 billion which he plundered.
Addressing workers at Karachi Company, Khan said a change in Pakistan would be evident on July 25.
Promising to tackle corruption tooth and nail, Khan promised to strengthen the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
“I would hand over tax evaders to FIA and NAB,” said Khan.
Prior to elections, he also promised to focus on improving the state of the country’s health and education sectors.
“I will expand the work done on education and health sectors in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP) to the entire country,” said Khan.
If brought to power, Khan said, “PTI‘s government would double the tax collection by building confidence of taxpayers that their money would be spent for betterment of the people,” Khan was quoted by the Express Tribune as saying.
He also condemned the corruption that had stagnated the country’s development.
“Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ruled the nation several times and they gave nothing but a heap of debt to Pakistan,” Khan added.
