Delhi’s air quality continues to be poor as stubble burning of neighbouring states causes concern

Delhi’s air quality continued to be in the ‘poor’ category this morning. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research, SAFAR, the overall air quality index of the national capital was recorded at 303.

It said, an increase in stubble burning observed yesterday around Punjab, Haryana and neighbouring border regions. SAFAR said, an increase in stubble contribution in PM 2.5 is estimated at around 19 per cent for today.
