The Namma Metro services in Bengaluru will resume operations from tomorrow at reduced operational hours. The purple line will resume tomorrow and the green line on September 9th. The services will operate between 8.00 am to 11.00 am and 4.30pm to 7.30 pm until September 11th and 7.00 am to 9.00 pm thereafter.
Trains will operate at intervals of five minutes during the peak hours and 10 minutes during non-peak hours. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation has released the standard operating procedure to be followed by commuters to prevent spread of the pandemic.
