Bringing a major relief to business establishments located along the National Highways, Meghalaya Government has decided to lift the restrictions allowing them to open with immediate effect.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said, Health Department has been instructed to come out with detailed Standard Operating Procedures and protocols for those business houses. He said everyone has to adhere to the health protocols.
Meanwhile, Health Minister AL Hek informed that 108 new cases were detected yesterday taking the total number of active cases to 1252. He said the total fatalities has reached to 14.
So far the state has detected a total of 2734 COVID-19 cases out of which 1252 are active and 1468 have recovered.
