Maharashtra govt asks universities to submit final year exam plan by Sept 7

Maharashtra government has asked universities to submit their detailed plan of conducting final year examinations. State Minister for Higher and Technical Education Uday Samant said that the universities are free to chalk out their own schedule of conducting exams, they will have to announce the results by 31st October.

Once the universities submit their plan by 7th September, the government will hold a meeting with the disaster management committee to decide on the steps needed to be taken against coronavirus spread during the exam. 

The Minister said students interested in pursuing higher education in foreign universities will be given provisional certificates.
