ఫిబ్రవరి 14 న జరిగిన పుల్వామా టెర్రరిస్టు దాడి లో మృతి చెందిన ప్రతి సిఆర్పిఎఫ్ సైనిక కుటుంబానికి రూ .5 లక్షలు ఇవ్వాలని మాతా అమృతానందమయి మఠ్ హామీ ఇచ్చారు. ఫిబ్రవరి 14, 2019 న, జమ్మూ కాశ్మీర్లోని పుల్వామా జిల్లాలోని లెత్పోరా (అవన్తిపుర సమీపంలో) వద్ద జరిగిన సంచలనాత్మక ఫిదాయీన్ బాంబు దాడి, జమ్మూ శ్రీనగర్ జాతీయ రహదారిపై భద్రతా సిబ్బందిని తీసుకువెళ్ళే వాహనాల పై దాడి చేశారు. ఈ దాడిలో 40+ సెంట్రల్ రిజర్వు పోలీస్ ఫోర్స్ (సిఆర్పిఎఫ్) సిబ్బంది మరియు దాడిచేసిన ఉగ్రవాది మరణించారు.
