Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad today informed that Chief Minister Udhdhav Thackeray has given permission to reopen all schools in the state from Monday. There was a demand from all levels for resuming physical classes. The minister informed that schools will start from Monday taking care of the health of the students and following all the corona preventive rules. Gaikwad also said that the decision was taken in today’s meeting of the department to give the authority to the local administration to start the school after investigating the corona outbreak in the region and other issues.
Meanwhile, Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant has said that he will hold discussions with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray regarding opening of colleges in the state. He said that the proposal for starting colleges would be sent to the Chief Minister for final approval.
